RARE TO FIND

                    In the present scenario internet helps us to keep up with our friends, relatives etc. near and far likewise making new friends but in that case we need to be very cautious as there are pros and cons both of it especially when you are making friends online. Social networking sites like Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, etc. are few of them which keep us connected despite the distance.

                    Friends play a very important part in our lives. Company of true and good friends are like the comforting rays of the sun during the chilly winter days.

                    It’s about the old orkut days, one such friendship was born through it. One evening, i was gazing the sky and the beautiful dusk scrolling down my orkut page and abruptly a new friend request from someone took my attention, scrutinizing the profile is the very first thing i always do and after a jiffy i finally accepted his request. Conversation began with the normal introduction like 1.What’s your name? 2. What you do? 3. Where do you live? 4. What are your hobbies? Etc. but for few days i monitored him so as he might have done as well. A few conversations helps us understand and likewise by the way someone interacts and of course our vibes sometimes gives us constant reminders like an alarm telling you all the time no there's something fishy step back. HAHAHAHAH.....because we never know who has hidden motives or who turn out to be fake. As i remember he never asked me to share my photographs, number or anything that leads me to suspect him. Later i realized he doesn't belong to that category of people, in fact he is just like our normal friends soon after that realization there was no full stop to it. We laughed, cracked jokes, got annoyed, pull each other’s legs and what not. After quite a long time we thought of exchanging our numbers so that we can hear each other. It still retain in my memory when my phone rang and I heard him for the first time so as he. There wasn’t a pinch of hesitation between us, we talked as if we knew each other since ages. The two of us could talk with each other for hours without being bored and as i was too loquacious he used to call me 100 words per second. HAHAHA….

                  Never knew the people who were once a stranger will have a very exceptional bond between the two called Friendship.Very quickly like wildfire our friendship became the hot topic among his friends there.

                 Out of the blue one morning he told me there’s a gift for you. My heart began to pound to know exactly what it could be. Then he added he has been working on that gift for some time. After a long pause he spilled the beans that he has written a poem for me. He mailed it to my email id. After reading it I was just blown away, overwhelmed by his kind gesture couldn’t really express myself nor did I find any suitable word to express my gratitude the way I felt that time. Times that I spent with him were the real merry days. 

And Our Friendship still continues…………………………



Such friendships are rare and genuine. True Friendship never dies.
